Richold SA, is a private family-owned business, founded in 1968. Its head office is in Geneva, and since 1976 it has specialised in supplying polished diamonds specifically for the luxury brands and luxury groups.
In 1990, Richold became the major supplier of diamonds to the luxury brands and luxury groups. Today, Richold has a factory in Sri Lanka. We have long term relationships with a focussed number of large contractors in India & China. The Company also owns a quality control & sorting office in Mumbai, another unit in Antwerp and has an office in Israel at Shimshon building Ramat-Gan Diamond Exchange.
1976
The company has evolved toward a new and unique concept: Richold is the first company specialized in the cutting and supplying of small diamonds for the Swiss Watch industry.
1992
Opening of a subsidiary of Richold S.A. in Belgium at the Antwerp Diamond Exchange: Richold Belgium Bvba.
1994
Opening of the first Richold S.A. factory in Sri Lanka: Nisol Diamond Ltd.
2002
« Joint venture » with a company specialized in diamond production in Zuhai, China.
2003
Richold S.A. obtains the prestigious accreditation « DTC Sightholder » given by « De Beers ».
2004
Opening of a second Chinese factory in Zuhai, China.

Opening of Richold Bostwana in Gaborone, Bostwana.

Opening of UJAS Diamonds PVT LTD in Mumbai, India.
